Never used solid shampoo before? It's easy...

  • Wet your hair and wet the bar
  • Apply directly to wet hair and massage into a lather
  • Rinse thoroughly and follow with your favourite KIND2 conditioner if required

If you want your solid shampoo and conditioner to last, we’ve got a few quick tips:

  • Keep them out of the direct water flow from your shower
  • Allow them to dry out between uses
  • A dish or rack which allows air to circulate is perfect
  • They love being cool and dry (don’t we all)
  • Direct sunlight won’t affect the performance, but it might cause the natural colour and fragrance to fade

Questions we get frequently asked

Does this shampoo bar work in hard water?

This shampoo bar is pH balanced and has been created specifically to perform well in hard (alkaline water) with no transition period and more foam than our sulphate free bars. Avoid using soap based bars in hard water, as you will an unpleasant experience a waxy residue.

Does this shampoo bar work on oily hair?

Yes, it works well for oily or greasy hair with a combination of ingredients which help break the cycle of over-production oil that can be created by harsh detergents in some liquid shampoos. It’s formulated to clean without stripping your natural oils.

Will this shampoo bar fade my dyed hair?

All our shampoo bars are formulated to be pH balanced and with cleansing ingredients that won’t strip your hair colour. This bar includes Sodium Coco-Sulfate as a secondary cleanser to provide the extra foaminess but it’s still gentle and won’t dry out your hair.

Love this shampoo

I have been trying to ditch the plastic bottles and find a shampoo bar to replace it. I have tried so many most of them did not do anything for my thick curly hair and left if lank and coated. I was horrified to find that although there was no plastic bottle some of the products had plastic in the shampoo bars. I carried out some research and found KIND which has no plastic in it and I was delighted to find the rebalancing bar and the conditioner bar actually works for me and I love it. I have had the products for some time now as wanted to make sure there was no build up on my hair before writing my review. I would highly recommend this product, it soaps up well, (especially if you make sure you wet your hair thoroughly) and leaves no residue on your hair. A great product.

Tried a different bar

I have been using the Sensitive one for sometime and decided to try The Rebalancing one. This foam much better than the other but I’m not sure it suits my scalp as well. It has a pleasant scent, not overpowering or unnatural.

Sue kindly sent me one to try when I reached out to say that the Hydrating One which I did give 5 stars was disappearing too fast for my liking and when I asked if the rebalancing one is good for curly hair. She assured me it was and I wasn't disappointed. I felt like I'd used nice expensive liquid shampoo when I'd used the rebalancing one for the first time and although it shrinks quicker than the conditioner, it has already lasted me nearly two months and isn't finished yet. I bought another two bars, so when it does ventually finish, I have more. I recommend this bar if you have thick curly hair, work out a lot and like a bit of foam.
