HOW TO USE
Solid Shampoo Bars
- Wet both the shampoo bar and your hair
- Apply the bar directly to your wet hair
- Massage the shampoo bar into your scalp until it forms a gentle lather, work into the roots
- Rinse your hair thoroughly before using your favourite KIND2 solid conditioner bar (if required)
HOW TO STORE
Keep your bars cool and dry
When stored correctly, your shampoo and conditioner bars will remain solid, dry and keep their shape. Better still, they will last 2-3 times longer than a standard bottle of liquid shampoo or conditioner.
FAQ
It really depends on your hair and if it’s dry, more than shoulder length or prone to tangling - you probably will. Some of our customers find that the shampoo bar alone is sufficiently conditioning due to the gentle cleansers and plant based oils included.
Conditioner bars contain many of the same ingredients as liquid conditioner, just in a concentrated solid form without the water. By coating the hair with oils and conditioning ingredients - they work best when applied directly to wet hair, left on for a minute or two then rinsed.
Since conditioner bars are very concentrated and don’t contain any water, most people find only a small amount is required per use which means that they last for at least 60 – 80 washes, an 80g bar can last 6 months. Keeping it dry between uses will help it last longer.
We’re happy to say that we don’t use any palm oil or palm derivatives in our shampoo or conditioner bars.
If you want to avoid palm oil, it’s best to check directly with the brand. We use Behentrimonium Methosulfate made from rapeseed and all our ingredients are listed here on the website.
This conditioner bar is formulated to be pH balanced in the range of 3.8 – 4.5. It’s safe for children aged 3 and over. Our Fragrance Free Conditioner Bar contains no added fragrance and is ideal for people with allergies, sensitive skin or scalps. Children have delicate skin that can be irritated by synthetic fragrances.
I really struggle with shampoo as nearly everything makes my hair and scalp feel dry, but the KIND2 bar instantly reduced my frizz, dryness and left my hair feeling pretty soft. The only downside was it was a little bit hard to wash out and sometimes leaves a bit of waxy like sediment around my roots, but overall very happy!
I can’t recommend these bars enough - these really work. I tried a lot of bars over the last few years and these are brilliant. Also the little sisal bag is brilliant for using up the last little remnants of soap and shampoo bars 🎉
Works perfectly for a sensitive scalp and I've had the subscription for a while now it's perfect and lasts forever. The photo is after one or two months of use and there's still loads left (I have fairly short hair).
Works well when applied, however its not the easiest to get it onto your hair. You kind of have to swipe it over the ends of your hair relatively hard to feel like any product is on there. However, it makes your hair feel incredible. My hair has been soft, manageable, shiny and very healthy looking.
Tried out The Fragrance Free & The Sensitive shampoo and conditioner discovery bars and they’ve been excellent for my hair which is dry and suffers from dandruff. I use this in conjunction with my medicated shampoo and makes my hair feel so clean. Will be definitely buying the larger versions when the bars are finished.
